Saturday was the first time my parents took the baby away since she has been born, I needed to get some housework done so they decided to take her for a few hours and visit with her great-grandmother. To be honest, I felt extremely guilty at first but once I started cleaning I felt great, I was able to accomplish almost everything I wanted to. I also was able to find that damn wasp and low and behold it was…Dead on the floor thank god.
I ended up: making the bed, washing Baby V’s laundry, got rid of some junk, cleaned my husband tool area and cleaned the pantry. I also vacuumed the living room and kitchen they weren’t as bad but still needed some tidying up. I really wished I would have taken before and after pictures but whenever I think about doing them it’s too late. My husband asked if I wanted him to mess everything up so I could take the pictures I‘m like No.

Steps I like to take while cleaning is the following:
- Collect everything and place it in the middle of the room in different groups.
- Work on one area at a time
- Once the majority is done I begin finding areas for the miscellaneous items
- Laundry always goes in last.
I ended up going through Baby V’s old clothing again and was able to vacuum pack all her clothes into three bags now we have much more room. It’s always so depressing to see how little they were and how big she’s gotten. Am I the only one who keeps all of her child’s articles of clothing? I have kept everything: socks, hats, mittens, and regular clothes.
